Technology Showcase coming soon

On Nov. 13, NASA Johnson Space Center’s Chief Technologist Office (CTO) will once again host the annual Exploration Integration and Science Directorate (EISD) Technology Showcase poster session. It takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Building 3 collaboration area. The showcase promotes Center Innovation Fund and Independent Research and Development projects, as well as Innovation Charge Account projects from both JSC and the White Sands Test Facility.

“This innovation event always offers a great opportunity to open the doors of communication between principal investigators [PIs] and professionals across multiple fields and focus areas, as well as center management,” said JSC Deputy Chief Technologist Ronnie Clayton.

Generally, projects are selected to help fill technical gaps, integrate new technology for Johnson and the agency and advance human space exploration.

Center personnel are invited to come out to the Technology Showcase on Nov. 13. Come meet and talk to PIs, make new connections and nominate your favorite project for the “People’s Choice” award in the spirit of innovation. Voting tickets are available at the event exit area from CTO staff members.

Senior staff members will vote to select the “Director’s Choice” award winners, recognizing projects that demonstrate the most potential to positively impact Johnson missions, future commercialization and advance the state of the art.

Your presence at the 2017 EISD Technology Showcase is greatly welcome. We hope you will come meet the innovative minds behind the projects and cast your “People’s Choice” ballot.
