Show some love with the 2017 Combined Federal Campaign

2017-12-11
The 2017 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is now in full swing! The CFC provides an opportunity for Johnson Space Center employees, contractors and retirees to donate to local, national and international nonprofit organizations. The CFC is the largest annual workplace charity campaign, with thousands of participating charities. Lifting up those supported by these charities helps make all of our communities stronger.

For example:
  • $25 will provide a student with a backpack and school supplies for the year
  • $75 will equip a technology room to connect troops serving overseas with loved ones at home
  • $300 will provide a family with a safe, affordable home for one month
There are several important changes to CFC this year. Reach out to your organization’s CFC points of contact for more information.
  • Donations are no longer submitted through Employee Express; instead, sign up and donate at https://cfcgiving.opm.gov/welcome. The new CFC Donor Pledging System allows for more flexibility in donation options (such as with credit card).
  • CFC no longer accepts cash contributions (checks are OK with a paper pledge form).
  • You can pledge volunteer hours to select charitable organizations.
  • Federal retirees are invited to support their favorite charitable causes through the CFC via a deduction from their annuity.
Please consider supporting our communities through this highly effective program. Our goal is to get as many people involved as possible this year to support the charities that mean the most to you. No matter your level of contribution, everyone is encouraged to participate. Your tax-deductible contributions can be designated to any charity of your choice, so you choose how your support is directed. Please consider participating today, as every bit makes a difference.

Thank you for you generosity and “Show Some Love” today!
