The kind of traffic we can be OK with

2017-09-12

Though Hurricane Harvey attempted to dampen the resolve of NASA's Johnson Space Center, the culminating Stuff-the-Truck event for JSC Feeds Families went on about a week later than planned on Sept. 7. To date, about 130,000 pounds of food have been collected to aid families in our community. The Johnson family showed up en masse, responding to the call for donations.

JSC Feeds Families first began with the ambitious goal to collect more than 50,000 pounds of food. However, after Harvey, donations poured in and were taken immediately to people who needed them. In fact, so many showed such an outpouring of generosity that there will be one overall team award for the whole of Johnson. So many people stepped up to the plate to fill others’ plates, and we couldn’t thank you more.
