I am the Building 15 facility manager, and I have had over 52 years at NASA. I was wanting to get here, and I jumped at the opportunity to come down. I’ve been very fortunate. NASA has been good to me, and I have enjoyed what I’ve been able to do. I’m getting ready to step out—it’s time to retire.

I’ve worked with the Apollo program and astronaut training. I also really enjoyed working with students. We flew student experiments on the shuttle, and that was very important. We came up with some projects we wanted to get on the first shuttle flight.

NASA has been a great place to work, and the people around here are very, very nice. We’ve got a lot of good people here at JSC.
