Nothing quite as sweet as success

2017-08-10

With the tantalizing carrot of free ice cream for outstanding participation in the 2017 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), NASA Johnson Space Center team members responded to the online questionnaire in droves. The center beat last year’s unadjusted response rate of 65 percent by seven points, closing out the survey with a stunning 72 percent participation rate among the federal employees tapped to complete it. Not only did this mean free ice cream for the entire Johnson team—it also means that the government will have a ton of data to work with to make Johnson an even better place to work as we advance human space exploration. It’s something we like to call a win/win.

On Aug. 4, the Johnson team came out to Buildings 3, 11, Ellington Field, Sonny Carter Training Facility and White Sands Test Facility to receive their sweet reward. See photos from the various ice cream socials, hosted by Starport, below.
