‘Sea’ you later: NEEMO 22 splashes up after 10-day mission

NASA’s Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) 22 crew splashed up June 27 after a 10-day mission under the sea evaluating spaceflight countermeasure equipment in a confined habitat and adding to studies of body composition and sleep. The crew also performed aquatic “spacewalks” outside their underwater home to assess hardware and conduct marine science. Below are some cool pictures from their action-packed mission.
