I work for the Center Operations Directorate in the Furniture Group of the Logistics Division. I help employees work more comfortably and efficiently by optimizing their environment to make it more user-friendly and appealing. I design office spaces and provide furniture for existing buildings and procure furniture for new and refurbished buildings. I ensure that the end user’s workspace is ergonomically correct: your chair, desk, etc. It’s rewarding for me to see other people happy and make their lives better and easier. We spend so much of our lives at work, it is important that our workstations/office spaces are designed to suit everyone’s needs.

I also love being co-chair of the JSC Hispanic Employee Resource Group, which not only allows me to contribute to NASA’s goal of workplace diversity, but also takes an active part in engaging our brilliant workforce in outreach activities intended to stimulate young minds and ensure the continued leadership of our country in science, technology, engineering and math.
