Don’t miss out on Data Science Day 2.0

2017-04-24

It will become apparent that really every day is a day you use data science, whether you know it or not, but if you don’t sign up—you’ll miss this one!

Data Science Day 2.0 will take place at the Gilruth Center from April 26 to 27. It’s an event designed to share knowledge and provide training on how data analysis and visualization are used in our everyday lives.

Speakers from NASA, academia and industry will be on hand to share examples of how data science impacts their fields. The first day will kick off with a keynote address from NASA astronaut Jeff Williams, and the second day will feature Fox 26 meteorologist Lisa Vaughn, who uses her technical background to analyze her social media presence. Presenters from Harvard, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, RStudio and Topcoder are just a few of the other experts who will discuss their work.

This event is appropriate for anyone wanting to learn and share ideas, from novices to experts, and all are welcome. Visit the event website to find out more about how to register, see a list of speakers and view the agenda.

This event is sponsored by NASA Johnson Space Center’s Office of the Chief Knowledge Officer. Questions? Contact David Meza or Julie Barnes.
