World Premiere Screening: ‘One Giant Step for Morgan’

2016-05-27
Johnson Space Center team members are invited to a world premiere screening of the NASA episode of CNN’s original series, “Inside Man,” Episode: “One Giant Step for Morgan.” Come out to the Building 2S Teague Auditorium on June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to view the premiere and hear a special introduction by Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, who hosted and produced this NASA-centric episode. He will also answer questions after the screening.

In his inimitable, inquisitive style with sense of humor intact, Spurlock tells compelling stories from an insider’s perspective. “One Giant Step for Morgan” launches the fourth season of “Inside Man” with an intimate look at the space industry.

Last summer, CNN’s “Inside Man” production crews came to JSC to show the world a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be an astronaut through Spurlock’s experiences. You will see many familiar faces and places at JSC in the episode. In addition, the show explores the X-Prize Foundation in Culver City, California, and Virgin Atlantic’s Mojave Air and Space Port (also in California).

See how the rules of the game are changing in the space industry and what it means for the human race. To show their appreciation for all of the help from JSC team members during the making of this production, CNN wants you to see the ground-breaking episode on June 7 before it airs to the rest of the world (June 9).
