The invitation you would keep checking your mailbox for

While the Soyuz TMA-20M vehicle was rocketing into orbit on March 18, a select few of Johnson Space Center’s most recent trendsetters—identified for their work on JSC 2.0 initiatives and innovative projects—watched it embark for Expedition 47/48 from highly coveted seats in the Mission Control Center viewing room.

This special invitation, courtesy of JSC Director Ellen Ochoa, is periodically extended to those embodying the spirit of JSC 2.0. They are members of the JSC team who understand that we cannot rest on our successes of the past if we want to be the workforce of the future. Through their ingenuity and innovation, the center is making a pathway for change that will only help enable ambitious space exploration goals, like humans on Mars.
