Introducing IRS Direct File, a new tax filing service that can save you time and money. All eligible Johnson Space Center employees (civil servants and contractors) can use the pilot tool to file taxes for free directly with the IRS. The tool’s user-friendly screen will guide you step by step through a seven-question eligibility screener at the top of the homepage.   

The IRS Direct File tool, accessible on mobile devices and available in English and Spanish, allows users to complete their tax filings in as little as 30 minutes.
