NASA’s New Astronauts Have What It Takes – Do You?
Ten star sailors earned their wings this morning, becoming the newest group of spaceflight-ready astronauts who will journey to the Moon and Mars. As NASA celebrated their amazing achievement, it also put out a call to anyone who has ever dreamed of becoming an astronaut – come join us!
For the first time since 2020, NASA is accepting applications to become an astronaut. The next astronaut class will conduct groundbreaking research on the International Space Station, flight test commercially developed vehicles, and serve as crew members aboard spacecraft bound for destinations across the cosmos.
The agency is looking for candidates who are:
- Driven to explore
- Strong team members
- Skilled in multiple areas
- Adaptable and ready to learn
- Committed to public service
