Join NASA Engages, the New and Improved Speakers Bureau

2024-02-05

Introducing NASA Engages, the new system that replaces NASA’s Speakers Bureau Program. NASA is excited to share this interactive tool that connects NASA experts with internal and external activities that match their interests and expertise.

Join now to start sharing your passion for space exploration! Register here to create a profile. Scroll down and click “NASA Employee Login.” Any civil servant or contractor (with a NASA email address) can serve as a NASA Expert and access NASA Engages, as long as participation is approved by the appropriate management.

The platform will allow the NASA workforce to engage learners and the public in the agency’s mission by sharing their individual experiences, knowledge, and content. By joining, you can help support a NASA booth, participate as a judge in science fairs, contribute to career fairs, and much more. Sharing your work with the world is an important way to gain support for NASA missions so we can continue to push forward with exploration and inspire the next generation.

For step-by-step instructions on how to build your profile and more information about NASA Engages, view the presentation here. Please follow the instructions carefully. Each section must be completed in its entirety and saved prior to refreshing your screen. It only takes about 10 minutes to complete your profile. Check out this video for more information.

After setting up your profile, you can browse upcoming opportunities, bookmark, suggest colleagues, and apply for events you are matched with.

NASA Engages will also be used for external and internal users to request a NASA expert to speak with their classroom, organization, or participate in an event. External users seeking NASA engagement must create an account and profile before making a request. Please share the NASA Engages website and help us spread the word to all inquirers.

The tool is new and feedback is welcomed and appreciated. Please provide system-related feedback or questions to HQ-NASAEngages@mail.nasa.gov or reach out to Lesa Spivey, Johnson NASA Engages lead, for additional information.

Thanks in advance for joining and sharing NASA’s mission with the world.
