NASA's Johnson Space Center Director Vanessa Wyche welcomed employees to the JSC Town Hall on June 20, 2023, online and in the Teague Auditorium. Wyche shared important mission updates and recognized the recent Father's Day and Juneteenth celebrations. Johnson’s Associate Director for Vision and Strategy, Douglas Terrier, reviewed Dare | Unite | Explore yearly commitments.

Wyche also announced that JSC had achieved its goal of 75% civil servant participation in the Federal Employee Viewpoint survey. The survey serves as an opportunity for leadership to empower civil servant employees and inspire change to make Johnson and NASA’s White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico better places to work.  

After the town hall, employees visited tables in the lobby where Johnson’s AAERG (African American Employee Resource Group) shared details on becoming a member and getting involved in Black Space Week activities. Out & Allied ERG shared about the upcoming Pride Month activities.  

Overall, the JSC Town Hall provided employees with exciting mission updates and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
