XFL Championship Makes a Stop in Houston

Artemis II crew member Victor Glover was a special guest of the Houston Roughnecks on April 29, 2023, when the team hosted the XFL South Division Championship game. About 13,000 fans gathered at the University of Houston to watch the Roughnecks face off against the Arlington Renegades.

Victor was introduced to the crowd after NASA’s Artemis II crew video played on the stadium’s jumbotron. He participated in an on-field interview with the XFL and presented the game ball to Roughnecks linebacker Emmanuel Ellerbee. Later, ESPN shared a live shot of Victor as he met with XFL Chairman and Owner Dany Garcia.
