Bring Youth to Work Day: Inspire the Artemis Generation
Share the excitement of space exploration, and being a part of NASA, by inspiring our youth. Register youth or volunteer today for Bring Youth to Work Day on June 7!
NASA’s Johnson Space Center employees are encouraged to bring their kids, grandkids, nieces, or nephews - our youth - to work with them to share an inside peek at what NASA is doing daily to benefit humanity. All badged employees may participate (civil servants and contractors). All guests must be with a badged employee at all times.
Please submit your photos here after the event using your NASA email address.
Center Director Vanessa Wyche will provide opening remarks at the welcome ceremony. Youth will be able to enjoy cool exhibits and videos, hear from an astronaut, and take photos with Cosmo, NASA's inflatable astronaut mascot. There will be exhibits to explore and outreach materials in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for youth to take home.

There will be an option to participate in a morning or afternoon session in the Teague Auditorium. As noted above, the morning session has reached capacity, however opportunties exist to register for the afternoon session. In addition, youth will be able to see what you do each day to contribute to NASA’s mission as you escort them through your organization.
Register for the afternoon session
Please read the “About” section for further instructions. Upon registering, complete the box indicating the total number in your party, including yourself.
NOTE: Parents/sponsors are always required to accompany their youth. Additional steps are required to gain center access for youth 16 and above.
Guests under 16 are allowed onsite as long as they are with a badged employee. Guests ages 16 to 21 are required to take three steps to be admitted:
- Arrive in a vehicle with a badged employee and enter through Gate 1 on Saturn Lane
- Bring valid photo identification and present it to the security guards at Gate 1
- Check-in at the registration table in the Teague Lobby with a valid ID to receive a wristband for entry to the auditorium
