It’s the Most Wonderful Time (to Have a Centerwide Holiday Celebration)
The holiday celebration of the year, dubbed Jingle & Mingle with a Splash (in honor of Orion’s recent splashdown to conclude a successful Artemis I mission), ticked all the boxes for attendees in search of entertainment and, most importantly, snow.
On the evening of Dec. 15, NASA Johnson Space Center team members, along with their families and friends, took to the Gilruth Center to enjoy a winter wonderland play area; performances by a band, choir, and ballet company; festive ugly sweater contest; inflatables; kids’ games; food, drinks, and hot cocoa; and more. Johnson Director Vanessa Wyche and Orion Program Manager Howard Hu offered remarks about midway through the event.
