NASA Night (Gateway Edition!) with the Astros is Back Monday, Aug. 1
NASA Johnson Space Center employees and their family and friends recently enjoyed a NASA Night game with Space City’s baseball team, the Houston Astros, on July 16. But, like they say, you can never have too much of a good thing. (Did you miss this recent NASA Night experience? Check out a photo gallery and videos from the festivities.)
Tickets are available now through Starport for this upcoming NASA Night with the Astros on Aug. 1 — this time with Gateway taking center stage (er, diamond?). Doors open and fan activities begin at 5 p.m. CDT for the 7:10 p.m. game versus the Boston Red Sox.
Some of the usual NASA exhibit hits will be on hand for pregame activities, including our inflatable mascot Cosmo, spacesuit helmet and glove, flat astronaut photo ops, Orion model, and handouts like stickers, decals, and tattoos. Gateway will also feature prominently in the exhibit area with a model of the future outpost, banner, and more Gateway-themed giveaway items.
Right before the Astros play ball, Gateway Program Manager Dan Hartman will participate in a ceremonial moment on the field joined by some of our international partners teaming up with NASA to bring the lunar space station to life.
Whether you’re a fan of the Astros, Gateway, Space City, or more, this NASA Night has something for everyone. Get your tickets NOW, before they sell out!
