Earth Science Happening at JSC

2021-04-15

April 22 is Earth Day! To celebrate. Roundup has curated a presentation of some of the different Earth science programs and projects taking place right here at JSC. This video will focus on Earth science missions being operated by the Aircraft Operations Division at Ellington Field, Earth Observations and astronaut photography  managed by the ARES directorate, and JSC wildlife and the JSC Planning, Integration and Environmental Office managed by Center Operations,.

In addition to the video below, JSC has curated a wealth of resources to help educate and celebrate Earth Day 2021. This year the center is focusing on climate change and actions that we can each take to protect our planet. You will hear Jeni Morrison discuss some of the work the center is doing to minimize climate impacts during the video. To learn more about other ways to celebrate and get involved, visit the JSC Earth Day website.

We encourage you to watch the video and learn more about the programs and the people that make them possible below.
