America—and Johnson Space Center—recycles

Johnson Space Center got in on the action for America Recycles Day on Nov. 13 with an eco-friendly book swap, inspiring TED videos, free goodies and more. The sustainability team also partnered with the Freeman Branch Public Library, who generously donated books to add to JSC team member donations. All leftover books were returned to the library.
Participants learned about recycling and sustainability, including how they could make a positive impact by protecting the planet and its resources, during this fun event. Recycled "art" on display also contributed to the larger picture of green living. See photos from the day below.
