NASA Movie Nights (Popcorn Optional)
The
Office of the Chief Information Officer would like to invite the NASA workforce
to watch live streams of some of the agency’s most popular documentaries.
On Aug. 14, NASA’s 50th Anniversary documentary will be shown at 7 and
9 p.m. CDT. The documentary looks at NASA’s first 50 years and is narrated by
the late Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11 commander and the first person to walk on the
Moon.
Once a month from August through the end of December, a documentary will be shown to NASA employees. The schedule includes the following:
Aug. 14: NASA’s 50th Anniversary
Sept. 18: The Space Shuttle
Oct. 23: The Year of Pluto
Nov. 20: The Journeys of Apollo
Dec. 18: NASA's Incredible Discovery Machine: The Story of the Hubble Space Telescope by NASA Goddard
So, mark your calendars! The selected viewings are by popular demand and have been requested for employees who want to watch these NASA-produced documentaries from the comfort of their homes. The productions are internal to NASA and are for employee viewing only via a NASA computer, using NASA credentials.
