Are Artificial Trees Best? In This Instance ... Yes!
Why cut trees when, instead, you can build trees to make a difference? That’s what NASA Johnson Space Center Building 45 residents did when they constructed a Christmas tree out of donation boxes topped off with a multitude of toys and stuffed animals benefitting Toys for Tots.
Thanks to buildings like 45 and many others across the campus containing strategically positioned donation boxes, the Johnson family donated 832 toys to the Galveston/South Harris County Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. This number doubles what was collected last year thanks to several new participating buildings.
Thanks to the generous spirit of the Johnson family, this holiday season will bring some magic and joy to less fortunate children through the 2019 Toys for Tots campaign.
