Celebrate Earth Month with Johnson’s Sustainability Team and GROW ERG
Ever since the first astronauts glimpsed our pale blue dot from a vantage point among the stars, NASA’s space exploration has inspired humanity to become better stewards of our planet. Earth Month, held annually during the month of April, helps turn that inspiration into action by raising awareness of how our planet is changing and promoting opportunities to get involved in conservation and other protective efforts.
At NASA’s Johnson Space Center, the Sustainability Team and the Greening and Restoring Our World (GROW) Employee Resource Group (ERG) are hosting or participating in a variety of Earth Month events. Employees are invited to join all of the activities listed below and learn more about how they can keep our planet healthy and beautiful.
